A quick trailer for my Royal College of Art Animation MA first year film, Forgot.

I'm taking part in a Brainbelt exhibition in Dublin again, running at the moment in Filmbase on Curved Street. My poster is for Blancanieves, a Spanish silence black and white take on Snow White.

Brainbelt Illustration Collective have teamed up with this year’s Jameson Dublin International Film Festival to bring you a diverse range of exciting illustrations of movie posters, classic lines and movie icons.

All inspired from a hand picked selection of films from this year's festival line-up. Keep your eyes peeled, as they will be dotted around a variety of participating cinema lobbies, box offices and bars.

Pieces are limited edition prints from contributing illustrators:
Emma Rowe
Stephen McNally
Alan Dunne
Ultan Courtney
Michelle Cunningham
Gareth Teggin
Jamie Murphy
John Corrigan
Peter Dawson

See the entire collection at JDIFF HQ, Filmbase, Curved Street, Temple Bar!

The Brainbelt 2011 Exhibition in association with Design Week and Innovation Dublin is opening tonight at six in the Graphic Studio Gallery in Temple Bar. Come on down!

Freyr riding Gullinbursti, his somewhat absurd flying golden boar. It's one of the odder contraptions from the Norse myths. Only pen and ink so far, haven't had a chance to colour up.

Bit of a lazy one this week. I just find Calvin Klein ads inherently absurd.
If you don't, well, here's Fry and Laurie's take instead:

The All-father holding Gungnir, with Huginn and Muninn perched;
Yggdrasil in the distance.

Work in Progress

My latest rough attempt for Illustration Friday, this time on the theme of dust.
And since that picture is so narrow, here's a zoom on the middle:

And the sketch:

A quick sketch for this week's Illustration Friday topic 'Sneaky'. I won't get a chance to finish it this week, but here's the rough version and the ink sketch anyway.

The Brainbelt exhibition (with my some of my stuff in it) is on in the Centre for Creative Practices, 15 Pembroke Street Lower, Dublin and will be open for the rest of the week (maybe next week too).
